Supporting young researchers is one of the core missions the DFK Paris fulfills through its many different grant programs and various other activities. These include study trips and study days, colloquia for young researchers, and internships for students. The department also sees itself as a coordination center for facilitating contact between researchers in France and Germany, and encourages networking among young researchers from around the world.
