Together with other partners, the DFK Paris co-produces Trivium, an online journal launched in 2008, published by Éditions de la Maison des sciences de l’homme. The e-journal publishes translations of articles from specialized journals and sees itself as a forum for the exchange of ideas and for cooperation between the human and social science research communities in France and Germany.

Since 2014, DFK Paris has being working in cooperation with Histoire de l’Art. This journal, published under the aegis of APAHAU, the French association of archaeology and art history professors, primarily presents the work of young researchers. Thematic issues are published twice a year. For each issue, DFK Paris selects a German-language article on the theme in question and has it translated into French. Since 2018, this section of the journal has been called Accent allemand (“German accent”).

The Franco-German journal Regards croisés brings together art historians and philosophers to enrich mutual understanding of contributions to art historical and esthetics research. It also seeks to draw attention to the latest research in the French- and German-speaking worlds.

In addition, the DFK Paris is one of 27 institutes from 18 countries responsible for the RIHA Journal, a joint project of the International Association of Research Institutes in the History of Art. The journal presents current research articles in art history, architecture, visual studies, and art theory. Blind peer review is an integral part of the editorial process.

Many researchers at the DFK Paris are also connected to other publications through their membership on editorial boards or their roles as experts.
