International Networking Event
International Networking Event
In conjunction with the Festival de l’histoire de l’art, the DFK Paris co-organizes an international networking event (Rencontres internationales des étudiant·e·s) with the Institut national d’histoire de l’art (INHA) and alternating partner institutions. The aim of the gathering is to bring together students and doctoral candidates from France, Germany, and all over the world in order to lay a groundwork for long-term networking, professional discussion, and collaboration.
Presented annually by the Institut national d’histoire de l’art (INHA) at the Château de Fontainebleau, the festival is intended for both an international specialist audience and interested members of the public and offers a unique opportunity to familiarize oneself with the field of art history in France and its representatives. A variety of formats – e.g., conferences, panel discussions, exhibitions, a Salon du livre, and film screenings – facilitate encounters and the exchange of ideas over the three days of the festival. Each festival is centred around an overarching theme and a host country.
Applications are welcome from master’s students, doctoral students and candidates, and, in justified cases, postdoctoral researchers – in the fields of art history, cultural heritage/architecture, museology, and archaeology.
Information about past networking events can be found here.
