The DFK Paris regularly offers intensive study courses on art in France and Germany. The courses typically investigate questions of a topographical, historical, genre-specific, functional, or iconological nature. They train art historians through direct dialogue with works of art while also creating opportunities for interaction with researchers in the host country. The courses are intended for master’s students, doctoral candidates, and, in approved cases, for postdoctoral 
researchers.
