Music, rhythmical sounds, noise: the objects that produce real and
metaphorical resonance are the focus of this conference – from the
harp to the mill wheel, from the human body to the heart of God. As
movable and moving objects, images and image carriers, as literary
motifs, as bridges between rhythm and ornament, they will be
discussed from the perspectives of art history, literary studies, and
history.

Musique, sons rythmiques, bruits : la conférence étudie les objets qui
produisent une résonance réelle et métaphorique, de la harpe à la
meule du moulin, du corps humain au coeur divin. En tant qu’objets
mobiles et émouvants, images et supports d’images, motifs littéraires,
alliances de rythme et d’ornement, ils seront discutés dans les
perspectives de l’histoire de l’art, de l’histoire littéraire et de l’histoire.

Musik, rhythmische Klänge, Lärm: Objekte, die reale und metaphorische
Resonanzen erzeugen, stehen im Zentrum der Tagung – von der
Harfe zum Mühlrad, vom menschlichen Körper bis zum Herz Gottes.
Als bewegte und bewegende Objekte, als Bilder und Bildträger, als
literarisches Motiv, als Verbindung von Rhythmus und Ornament
werden sie aus den Perspektiven von Kunstgeschichte, Literaturwissenschaft
und Geschichte diskutiert.
