Information Technology
The Information Technology Department supports the other departments at the DFK Paris through modern and secure IT infrastructure. The IT team provides central services, plans processes, and manages internal work stations, guest networks, and virtual work environments. It offers advice, designs and, if required, sets up databases and systems for art historical research. In addition, the IT Department develops and enhances software programs and works in close cooperation with partner institutes in the Max Weber Foundation to optimize procurement and development projects.

Administration
The Administration Department is responsible for budget planning and monitoring, human resources management, and the smooth functioning of the building. The administration team works to improve and monitor working conditions and internal procedures.
The Administration Department also fosters intensive interaction with German, French, and international institutions, project partners, and third-party donors.
Public Relations
The Public Relations Department sees itself as the central link between internal and external communications at the DFK Paris. It coordinates scientific mediation, exchanges information with other research institutes, organizes and conceptually develops public relations, maintains contact with the media, and produces the DFK Paris’s many press releases and messages in the media and on social networks.
Secretariat / Event Management
The Secretariat, together with the reception desk, is the first point of contact for every visitor. It handles the institute’s correspondence, arranges appointments for the management team, coordinates room reservations at the DFK Paris, and organizes all events in close collaboration with the directors of research and their research assistants.
